Ex-Schneider Electric Senior Manager joins 8 Solutions’

Nigel Laws, former Head of Energy in IT at Schneider Electric, has been appointed as Business Development Manager at 8 Solutions. This is an important position for UK based 8 Solutions, a specialist at increasing efficiency and mitigating against the risk of down-time in critical facilities. The appointment further strengthens the expanding business development team, representing a significant change in pace for growth and sales penetration.

A qualified Marine Engineer & graduate in electrical and mechanical engineering, Nigel has worked for global energy management specialist, Schneider Electric over the last 9 years, more recently as Head of Energy in IT for their Professional Services division, but also as UK Enterprise Account Manager for the Critical Power & Cooling Services division, APC. In addition, he has also held a number of business development roles at strategic outsourcing company, MITIE and Rockwell Automation. His previous roles have all involved developing relationships with FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies so Nigel brings a wealth of experience of working with blue-chip companies, as well as an impressive portfolio of contacts.
8 Solutions has completed over 100,000 projects and has a client base that encompasses the majority of the FTSE 100, either directly or through the major facilities management organisations.
