Service Maintenance appointment for Nobel Fire Systems at UK’s leading cloud computing company

Nobel Fire Systems will provide a scheduled service maintenance service at two of iomart’s data centre’s in Manchester, UK. The work began in October 2013 and Nobel was commissioned for the project by facilities maintenance company FES FM.

David Shelmerdine, Service Manager for Nobel Fire Systems said: “We’re delighted to have been appointed by FES FM for this business critical work and will now deliver a full support programme to service the FM200 gaseous fire suppression systems and the Vesda detection systems at the two iomart sites”.


Nobel was chosen to carry out the critical maintenance services work as a result of its record of experience in the sector and because of its known commitment to provide outstanding levels of performance and best practice across all aspects of its operations. This included meeting the strict criteria required by FES FM regarding H&S, accreditations, qualifications and all other relevant issues. As part of the contract Nobel will also carry out room integrity pressure tests on site.
