HP is a large supplier into the UK Public Sector – central and local government – and as such, UKPS is a significant area in the company’s Enterprise Services business. In his new role, Stuart will be responsible for all of the UK Public Sector Business, which includes Defence, Benefits and Tax, Communities, and Home and Foreign Affairs.

Stuart has been with HP for seven years and brings a wealth of experience, having run HP’s EMEA Applications and Business Services business and, latterly, the Benefits and Tax sub-sector and DWP Account within UKPS for the past 18 months. Before joining HP, Stuart worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Unisys and Hitachi.

“In HP we recognise that our position as one of the Government’s largest IT suppliers and the custodian of some of their most critical systems is a privilege, and one which we have an obligation to continually re-earn. Our goal is to ensure we remain one of their most trusted partners for policy enablement. We will do this by continuing to align our business with the government’s ICT strategies and policies, and to provide our clients with excellent service and demonstrable value for money.”
