Orange selects iGATE

Awards iGATE a five-year contract valued at $80 million - with a possible one year extension - to support its mission to provide exceptional customer service and increased operational efficiency.

iGATE Corporation has secured a new five-year contract with Orange Communications SA (Orange Switzerland) to transform the telecom provider’s IT infrastructure and rationalize its vendor landscape in Switzerland.

The contract was awarded following a rigorous selection process run by Orange Switzerland. The engagement represents a significant industry win for iGATE as it reinforces its position in the European telecom sector.


In its partnership with Orange Switzerland, iGATE will take responsibility for transforming and managing all enterprise systems, including ERP, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure and Data Network & Telephony services. iGATE will also provide Infrastructure as a Service for Orange Switzerland and specific partners – as well as a multilingual service desk to monitor and report all vendor performance metrics. The data centre is operated through Equinix in Zurich where iGATE also has contracts with other Swiss companies from the finance and insurance sectors.
