Serco wins €60m contract to extend IT Support Services to the European Parliament

Serco has been awarded a contract by the European Parliament to consolidate and transform their IT Support Services. Under this new contract, which is valued at €60m over six years, Serco will work with its partners to provide support to the European Parliament in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg.

Serco has been providing a range of support services to the European Parliament since 1998. Under the new contract, Serco will continue to provide these services and will also deliver Front Office and Back Office IT services, as well as central Logistic and Procurement services.


One key aspect of the new service will be the consolidation of the three current service desks located in two countries consolidated into one and the service will provide support to both the VIPs and Standard Users of the European Parliament. The 1,500 VIP Users of the European Parliament include the President of the European Parliament and his staff, the Members of the


European Parliament, the Secretary General staff, the Directors-General’s offices and Directors.
