Leading UK-based analyst house, Bloor Research, is marking 25 years in providing impartial, expert insight into the global enterprise technology industry, with a landmark year of acquisitions, investment, and growth in 2014.

Founded in 1989 by influential industry analyst Robin Bloor, the organisation, which is headed up by CEO Justin Speake, celebrates its Silver Jubilee in 2014. The celebrations coincide with a period of significant transition for Bloor, which started last year with the opening of its first US-based office in California, and will see the analyst house embark upon the acquisition trail in the next few weeks.

Speake commented: “We are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come in the last 25 years. Bloor is a British-based, independent analyst house that is proud to have some of the industry’s most influential analysts on our roster; many of which have been with us more than 10 years – and beyond! We have helped hundreds of corporate IT end users find the right technology to help grow their businesses, and worked with a large portfolio of blue-chip software vendors to enable them to both better objectively understand, and also shape the market in which they operate. We have been a significant force in influencing the UK business to business technology industry, and will continue to do so.”

Bloor’s extensive faculty of analysts has hundreds of years’ experience in, and knowledge of, the enterprise IT industry. They are renowned both collectively and individually for their exceptional ability to advise and guide and both users and vendors on a wide variety of business and technology issues.

Speake added: “We are passionate about enabling organisations to choose the optimal technology solutions for their specific needs, and in 2014 we are making many changes within the organisation to ensure that this principle is further cemented in the way we work. Bloor is growing, and this is just the start of what we expect to be an exciting and celebratory year.

“We will shortly be announcing a number of significant partnerships and acquisitions to lead us into the next 25 years, so watch this space,” he concluded.
