Custodian connects with LINX ConneXions

Custodian Data Centres are now working in partnership with LINX to provide official Virtual Pop peering opportunities at its Kent, Byfleet and Goswell Road facilities.

The agreement between Custodian and London Internet Exchange (LINX) means that Custodian’s customers can take advantage of all the benefits of LINX from our state-of-the-art facilities with just 1 millisecond latency to the exchange, providing significantly improved global connectivity and reduced dependency on individual transit providers.


LINX has over 8.67 Tb of connected capacity, with 60 member countries and over 520 members they are supporting businesses by providing resilient network solutions through their role as a leading Internet Exchange Point. As an impartial body LINX provides ensures that all members can connect with the rest of the world using an organisation that is answerable to its peers.


Following the agreement with LINX, Head of Business Development Leonard Kay from Custodian remarked that “the LINX partnership is a great addition to our existing array of connectivity options at Custodian Data Centres which includes our own AS 50300 and choice of carriers on-site”.
