100TB, part of UK2 Group, now offers Volume Network services at the company’s London and Salt Lake City state-of-the-art data centres. Aimed at high bandwidth users with multi-server infrastructures, the service offers businesses a cost effective way to get high performance 1Gbit servers online.

Unlike similar services, 100TB's Volume Network still uses premium 100 per cent Cisco networking equipment and retains N+1 redundancy across the entire network stack, thereby answering a key concern for many businesses. Network redundancy serves as a backup mechanism for quickly swapping network operations to alternative hardware in the event of a failure. The substitute path instantly takes over operations, ensuring improved business continuity.

John Morris, COO for UK2 Group said: “We have invested significantly to offer our customers better hosting performance, and we are now working to build on that foundation and provide more cost-effective options which don’t compromise on performance. Our new Volume Network service meets the needs of customers looking for a superior network with high-bandwidth, without paying for superfluous capacity and performance.”

Volume Network specification
100TB data centres use premium 100 per cent Cisco networking equipment to provide customers with unsurpassed robustness and reliability. Noction’s intelligent routing platform is also an integral part of the network design, which means that customers’ high bandwidth traffic will take the least congested path through IP transit providers. 100TB’s Volume Network has the following features:

· Over 1Tbps network capacity
· Two redundant Tier 1 bandwidth providers
· 100TB or unmetered outbound traffic
· Unmetered inbound traffic
· Native IPv6 network design
