ISO 27001, the most recognised certification for information security controls, processes and operational information security procedures, guarantees that controls and risk treatment measures are in place to prevent and defend against any potential data system vulnerabilities. The certification also ensures that information security controls continue to meet the security, confidentiality and supplier quality needs of clients on a consistent, regularly assessed basis.

Shaun Wilcock, TeleData CEO, comments on the news “Businesses that outsource their data centre operations, applications and critical online resources with us are looking for assurances around the integrity and security of the systems they are placing within our data centre facilities. We’re proud to have achieved this certification, as it demonstrates TeleData’s commitment to the tightest of security controls, and the responsibility we place on the security of our clients’ hosted systems.

TeleData, who offer colocation solutions from quarter, half and full racks up to large scale private suites, are also protected by a BS5979 accredited security centre on-site. The company states that it is the only colocation provider in the UK to have this standard of physical security located within the building.

Wilcock continues; “The unique combination of physical, virtual and process security offered by TeleData makes us one of the most secure data centres in Europe. Combining these key elements with the excellent levels of resilience available from our Manchester data centre, puts forward a compelling proposition for any business that is looking to enhance the performance of their business critical technology by outsourcing to a specialist 3rd party data centre provider.”
