Comstor and SimpliVity partner

Westcon Group’s Comstor business practice has signed an EMEA partnership agreement with SimpliVity to distribute the company’s leading hyperconverged infrastructure platform as an integrated solution with Cisco UCS.

Hyper Converged Integrated Solutions (HCIS) have a huge momentum and are offering a powerful, yet easy solution for today’s virtualized Data Centers with an enormous business potential. Jeremy Butt, EVP EMEA, Westcon Group, comments: “Our EMEA partnership with SimpliVity will add ‘ease of doing business’ to the Data Center solution for our partners. Co-operation between Cisco and SimpliVity was announced in August 2014 and the SimpliVity OmniStack Integrated Solution with Cisco UCS allows organisations to benefit from the best of both worlds: enterprise functionality with cloud economics. SimpliVity’s hyperconverged infrastructure radically simplifies IT by consolidating all infrastructure and data services below the hypervisor into a single unified stack running on x86 building blocks. SimpliVity hyperconverged infrastructure is delivered at a fraction of cost and with extreme reduction in complexity over legacy IT stacks.
