The amount raised at the golf day started with the selling of mulligans to the players during the day and also players paid for the opportunity to beat the pro on the course.
During the evening raffle tickets were sold with prizes donated by Mannings Heath Golf Club, Blue Helix, Belcom 247, Conceptunet, Corning, Geist and Redstone. Prizes included a golfing break near Bath, a golf bag, a round of golf at Mannings Heath and a selection of wine.

This is the second year that Blue Helix & Corning has supported St Catherine’s Hospice. The £900 raised at the golf day, follows on from over £2000 that Blue Helix staff raised from a sponsored abseil earlier in the year. St Catherine’s Hospice is a charity dedicated to providing specialised end of life care and support to local people, their families, friends and carers. The hospice cared for the wife of a member of staff in 2014. Many thanks to all those that attended and donated so generously to this great cause, this would not have been possible without your support.
