NGD’s highly qualified data centre engineers, who have installed thousands of servers, storage and switches at NGD over the past five years, will design and cable each rack, mount and power-up customer IT equipment having verified high-availability configuration, and check customer remote access is operating correctly. Following deployment complete documentation and digital pictures of the entire installation are provided to simplify ongoing support.

All customer racks installed at NGD benefit from its world class secure and resilient Tier 3 infrastructure, abundant power supply, and fully diverse connectivity.

“With increasing demand for space at the NGD facility our new server rack design and installation service will save customers time and money as they migrate from legacy data centres, relieving them of the chore of setting up IT infrastructure and enabling solutions architects and other IT personnel to focus totally on applications design and delivery,” commented Steve Davis, NGD’s Channel Sales Director.

Other installation support services available from NGD now also include adding and/or replacing server, SAN and networking options and components, technical support during planned change and maintenance activities, and the installation of basic Operating System and network configurations.
