VIRTUS Data Centres provides customers with DDoS Detection and Mitigation Services  

VIRTUS Data Centres is providing customers with access to Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) detection and mitigation services on VIRTUS marketplace, a selection of bespoke solutions and services on offer within the VIRTUS ecosystem.

By providing customers with access to the recognised DDoS detection and mitigation platforms, VIRTUS Data Centres is safeguarding customers from the rise in frequency, volume and complexity of DDoS attacks.

DDoS Mitigation services will enable VIRTUS customers to benefit from an enhanced network-based detection and mitigation scrubbing solution alongside network routing, rate limiting and IP filtering; as well as additional capabilities for application layer attacks including advanced behavioural analytics technology.

In addition, customers will also be provided with a host of features to detect and mitigate multi-vector DDoS attacks with unprecedented performance scalability and deployment flexibility, including features which validate, block or rate-limit traffic entering the network. This will guarantee customer service availability is maintained no matter what attack types is used be it: volumetric, protocol, resource or even an application-level attack.

By utilising premium DDoS detection and mitigation services, VIRTUS Data Centres will ensure that customers’ legitimate traffic will always be delivered to their respective platform even during a DDoS attack. In the event that an attack is identified, traffic will be routed away from the core network, safeguarding against loss or degradation of service as a result of an attack on a 'neighbour'.
