Sumerian, the U.K. headquartered predictive capacity planning analytics provider, will join the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance.  The new relationship will enable more customers to benefit from Capacity Planning as a Service (CPaaS) by integrating with the Microsoft Corp’s cloud platform.
Sumerian’s Capacity Planner CPaaS enables IT teams to instantly visualise their current capacity position, take proactive action based on predicted future capacity events and model planned change to assess its impact. By providing statistically accurate insight, organisations can rightsize capacity, improve performance and reduce costs, ensuring business continuity and an IT infrastructure adaptable to change.

“Our solution has been designed with Microsoft technology at its heart so joining the Enterprise Cloud Alliance was a natural next step for us as we seek to show customers the advantages of running Capacity Planning in the cloud,” said Stuart McCaul, chief commercial officer, Sumerian.

“By working together, we will be able to deliver on the promise of a service that provides easy visibility and accurate forecasting across entire IT estates, regardless of the physical or virtual location.”

Michael Leworthy, Director, Cloud Platform Marketing, Microsoft , said “We’re pleased to welcome Sumerian to the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance. Sumerian’s Capacity Planner will provide our mutual customers an integrated solution for capacity planning.”
