Atos and CyberArk have introduced Privileged Access Management, a partnership-led service. The service focuses on helping organisations protect against cyber attacks that target and exploit privileged account credentials – the common factor in almost all breaches today. Atos selected CyberArk’s industry leading technology solutions as the service’s standard for managing privilege-related risks at customers worldwide.

Compromised privileged accounts allow attackers to take full control of an organisation’s IT infrastructure, disable security controls, steal confidential information, commit financial fraud and disrupt operations. Proactive management of privileged accounts across the enterprise - from endpoints to domain controllers - is vital to help ensure organisations are protected from advanced attacks.

Privileged Access Management from Atos and CyberArk is an end-to-end service that secures privileged accounts, both for users and applications on-premises or in virtual or cloud environments. It will be offered by Atos as a managed service with no upfront investment in licenses or infrastructure required. The flexibility of the CyberArk Privileged Account Security Solution enables the modular offering that encompasses privileged account protection and management, session security and continuous monitoring.

“The business need for Privileged Access Management has never been clearer and Atos is very excited to launch this new offering in partnership with CyberArk,” said Chris Moret, vice president cybersecurity at Atos.  “Privileged account exploitation is one of the most widely used, damaging attack vectors. Effective mitigation strategies require a complete solution to protect against increasingly complex, privilege-related security threats. Atos feels it is essential we simplify as much as possible the risk management process for our clients so that they can concentrate on their core business.”

“It is critical that organisations take a proactive, layered approach to protecting their most valuable assets – making privileged account security the first thing organisations should focus on when prioritising their risk management strategies,” said Adam Bosnian, executive vice president, global business development at CyberArk. “Organisations taking advantage of this new service will benefit from Atos’ global reach and security expertise, as well as their understanding of privileged account-related risks to deliver crucial protection against evolving threats.”
