“The Cloud Management market today is crowded with individual tools that solve niche cloud operations problems but fail to address the broader needs of customers who consume public cloud infrastructure at scale,” says Kris Bliesner, CEO of the new company. “Vega provides an industry-first platform designed from the ground up for scale management. Vega is focused on helping businesses manage their public cloud infrastructure without having to purchase and manage a hodgepodge of single-solution tools.”

The Vega team is comprised of industry experts that have more than a decade of experience managing public cloud infrastructure at enterprise scale. Kris Bliesner, the company’s CEO, previously founded 2nd Watch, a large-scale systems integrator and managed service provider for public cloud. After founding Liberty Lake Cloud, Kris brought several of the original core team from 2nd Watch with him on the journey to develop the now-available Vega Cloud Management Platform. Jason Foster, Cloud Strategy Lead for Vega, is focused on helping customers get to a best-practices state. “What’s missing in the market today is a platform built from experience and focused on solving problems that appear in year two, year three, even year six or seven. Vega’s first release around cost optimization can save you money in three distinct ways: our software saves you time, it saves you software licensing costs and it saves money off your monthly cloud provider bill.”
