Ardmac makes two senior appointments for its Cleanrooms and Data Centre Divisions

Enda Murphy takes on Managing Director position for Cleanrooms Division as Jason Casey becomes Deputy Managing Director for the Data Centre Business Unit.

Ardmac, the leading Ireland headquartered and international construction specialist, has made two senior internal management appointments for its Cleanrooms and Data Centre Divisions. Enda Murphy has been appointed Managing Director of Ardmac’s Cleanrooms Division with Jason Casey taking up the position of Deputy Managing Director for the Data Centre Business Unit. Ardmac directly employs over 300 people across Ireland, the UK and Europe, and provides specialist construction services to the commercial fit out, life sciences and data centre sectors.


Enda, takes on his senior leadership role having served for the past two years as Ardmac’s Head of Engineering.  In his new role, Enda will be responsible for leading a team of 171 people that work directly within the Cleanrooms Division of Ardmac and driving business growth, both in Ireland and internationally.  Ardmac is established as one of the largest providers in the construction of Cleanrooms facilities in Europe, delivering for most of the top 20 global pharmaceutical manufacturers, in addition to many medical device companies and healthcare providers.

Commenting on his appointment, Enda Murphy said: “I am really looking forward to taking on the challenges and opportunities that come with my new position. One of my key goals in the role as managing director, will be to continue to enhance our reputation as the cleanroom contractor of choice for clients in Europe.  My ambition is to achieve this through the development of our people and our digital processes.”

Jason Casey has been appointed to the Deputy Managing Director role within Ardmac’s Data Centre Business Unit, having previously served as Associate Director within Ardmac’s Cleanroom business unit.  Jason now takes on a key leadership role within the data centre business, primarily responsible for delivering on targets across a number of key business and performance metrics, including  safety, quality, customers, team and revenue.

Commenting on his appointment as Deputy Managing Director for the Data Centre Business Unit, Jason Casey said: “We see significant growth in our data centre business in the years ahead and I am excited to play my part in expanding our team and learning culture to deliver more successful projects for our clients. We will achieve this through the continued rollout of our digital, innovation and operational excellence strategies, placing our clients at the centre of everything we do.”

Earlier this year, Ardmac announced that it had taken a significant equity investment in Carlow-based Cental, a leading and fast-growth provider of advanced modular infrastructure to the Data Centre, Utilities and Telecoms industries.

The combined expertise and resources resulting from this development will enhance Ardmac’s capabilities as a leading provider of offsite modular solutions to its clients in the Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Advanced Manufacturing sectors, whilst opening up new solutions for Commercial Fit-out clients.
