The funding award will help the Kfar Saba-based business to evolve and enhance XpedITe – a Universal Intelligent Infrastructure Management solution it has developed to provide data centre managers with intelligent automation and predictive insight and planning capabilities.

RiT Tech’s revolutionary approach to removing any operational blind spots from a data centre’s topology by capturing the role of every asset and its inter-dependencies is powered by advanced algorithms and enables predictions-based provisioning to be exploited by site operators.

Affording users a real-time, 360-degree view of their operations, XpedITe can plan installations and forecast risks, automate ongoing processes and operational workflows as well as manage the lifecycle of assets and a data centre’s resource utilisation.

Jeff Safovich, chief technology officer at RiT Tech, said the IIA’s endorsement of XpedITe demonstrated the system’s promise.

“The process for securing IIA funding is extremely competitive and such recognition is only awarded to those businesses breaking new ground using new and emerging technologies.

“To be recognised as being pioneers in the data sector domain is fantastic and is an acknowledgement that our Universal Intelligent Infrastructure Management solution has the potential to transform the industry.

“Rather than focusing on just one aspect of a data centre like other products, XpedITe considers every element of an environment – no matter how expansive – and this improved visibility makes attaining optimal performance much easier.

“It is a breakthrough that delivers super efficiencies while helping to reduce the total cost of ownership and is comparable to the transformative impact the introduction of optimisation techniques has had on the aviation industry.

“In an intensely competitive market, those airlines using technology to understand and unpick the complexities of scheduling, juggling connections, assigning crew, bad weather and passenger bookings have a distinct advantage.

“XpedITe can do the same for data centres by providing a clear view of what’s over the horizon.”
