NTT DATA has formed a new partnership with WalkMe, the leading provider of digital adoption solutions. Together, NTT DATA and WalkMe will work to accelerate the modernisation efforts of clients worldwide, with WalkMe’s Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) providing holistic control of transformation efforts.

DAPs are critical in the battle to ensure digital transformation projects succeed, as they reduce digital friction and increase end-user productivity during software transitions, which is a major cause for digital transformation projects failing. As a result, DAPs are set to play a major role across the entire technology stack, with Gartner estimating that seven out of ten organisations will use them by 2025.

The new partnership will enable NTT DATA’s clients to use the WalkMe platform to get visibility into adoption challenges – whether it be around productivity, usability, compliance, or beyond. WalkMe then enables NTT DATA to take a people-first approach to embracing the exciting but constant changes in technology as an advantage, as opposed to a risk.

The benefits are clear for businesses. WalkMe radically improves the adoption journey within a digital transformation initiative and enables businesses to fully leverage their investments in new technology. WalkMe customers have seen a 60% reduction in training time following digital transformation, 50% savings in IT and help desk savings, and overall return on investment of 368% on the cost of the platform.

Jim Nairn, Senior Vice President of Alliances and Channels at WalkMe, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with NTT DATA on a global scale to help businesses maximise their investments and get the most out of their technology. It’s exciting to have a major new global partner with the desire to work so closely and collaboratively with us, and we’re looking forward to helping businesses realise the full potential of their digital transformation investments, together.”

Mike Jones, VP Partners & Alliances at NTT DATA UK&I, said: “We’re looking forward to working more closely with WalkMe, to bring its digital adoption platform to more of our customers worldwide. We have already delivered productive digital adoption client engagements together, where the time to value was impressively short. DAPs are a critical part of the modernisation process, empowering businesses with the understanding of why they aren’t hitting ROI targets, as well as sharing a way to reach those targets, and demonstrating the benefits of doing so.”
