Nokia, in collaboration with renowned enterprise technology services provider Kyndryl, announced a pivotal agreement with iWay, a prominent Swiss telecommunications provider. iWay has opted for Nokia's Data Center Fabric (DCF) and Event-Driven Automation (EDA) solutions, alongside Kyndryl’s comprehensive network management services, to revolutionise its data centre operations.

This collaboration, rooted in Nokia and Kyndryl’s strategic partnership, aims to exploit Nokia’s robust enterprise data centre capabilities. Their focus is on delivering open, reliable, and manageable network solutions, ensuring they remain adaptable to evolving digital infrastructure needs. With Kyndryl’s expertise in creating and managing agile, risk-aware IT infrastructures, the integration of advanced technologies becomes seamless.

Matthias Cramer, iWay’s CTO, emphasised the benefits of this shift: “Replacing our previous solution with Nokia’s data centre fabric and Kyndryl’s network deployment services has allowed us to fully automate our environment, roll out new features with ease, and reduce human error.” He praised the EDA platform for its simplicity and flexibility while recognising both Nokia and Kyndryl as trusted technology providers.

Paul Savill, leading Kyndryl's Global Network and Edge Computing Practice, remarked, “The combination of Nokia's data centre fabric solutions with Kyndryl's end-to-end network services and consulting expertise is helping iWay modernise their data centres with confidence - strengthening their security, supporting regulatory compliance, and laying the foundations for long-term scalability and growth.”

David Heard, President of Network Infrastructure at Nokia, highlighted the importance of this collaboration: “As network operators worldwide prepare to expand their data centres, iWay is already ahead... This is a solid win for our European data centre business and a testament to our strategic collaboration with Kyndryl.”
