A-Gas, a leader in environmentally responsible lifecycle refrigerant management, has completed a significant project for a global technology provider. The initiative involved the safe recovery of over 73,000 lbs of R410A refrigerant across five buildings, equipped with 222 cooling units, which were in the process of being decommissioned. This undertaking highlighted A-Gas' dedication to both safety and environmental conservation.

The project was critical in preventing the release of harmful refrigerants, equating to a saving of 70,226 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2e). Additionally, through the A-Gas buyback programme, the technology provider enjoyed direct economic benefits, further reinforcing the value of environmentally conscious operations.
