Cognizant has sealed a multi-year partnership with Microsoft, aimed at transforming global enterprises into AI-driven powerhouses. This collaboration aims to redefine work paradigms, unlock unprecedented value, and scale innovation responsibly.
Through this agreement, the two companies seek to co-create industry-grade AI solutions. They plan to co-sell globally and collaborate on significant deals across pivotal sectors, including Finance, Healthcare, Retail, and Manufacturing.
The partnership seeks to embed agentic AI and Copilot capabilities into mission-critical workflows. These capabilities, powered by Work IQ, Foundry IQ, and Fabric IQ, are expected to accelerate productivity, enhance customer experience, and bolster operational resilience.
This joint venture is a further enhancement of Cognizant's Neuro AI Suite of offerings, leveraging Microsoft's cloud and AI services. The synergy is anticipated to deliver innovative solutions that support large-scale transformations for clients.
According to Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant, "We will co-build scalable solutions, co-sell globally and partner on large deals that deliver measurable outcomes." By aligning the partnership with their three-vector AI builder strategy, Cognizant aims to foster significant progress in the AI landscape.
The partnership is set to expand Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot across Cognizant’s delivery and consulting teams. There will be an effort to upskill associates on Microsoft Azure and related technologies, fostering an agile and AI-savvy workforce.
Cognizant will leverage its proprietary platforms, including TriZetto, Skygrade, and FlowSource, to support sector-specific advancements and modernise software engineering at scale.
Judson Althoff, CEO of Microsoft’s commercial business, emphasised, "By combining Microsoft’s trusted cloud and agentic AI capabilities with Cognizant’s platforms and delivery scale, we will accelerate the creation of industry-specific solutions that are embedded in the flow of work and unlock transformative value."
