GNM and the London Internet Exchange (LINX) have agreed a reseller partnership, intended to provide access to LINX peering services for networks connected to GNM infrastructure in London.

GNM operates a high-capacity global backbone that connects key international markets. Its infrastructure is supported by a distributed interconnection platform designed to support scalable and flexible connectivity.

LINX is an Internet Exchange operator that provides a platform for networks to exchange traffic across multiple international peering points. It operates a neutral environment designed to facilitate interconnection between different networks.

Its flagship exchange, LINX LON1, is one of the largest Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) and serves as a hub for UK and international network interconnection.

Through the partnership, GNM will provide access to LINX LON1 services for networks connected via its infrastructure. This includes access to public peering, closed user groups, and Microsoft Azure Peering Services (MAPS).

The collaboration adds connectivity options for networks looking to adjust their peering strategies, improve routing efficiency, and manage global traffic exchange.

The partnership aims to make LINX services more accessible through GNM’s infrastructure, enabling networks to connect to LINX and expand their interconnection options.

LINX’s LON1 platform supports a range of networks and peering arrangements and provides a central point for traffic exchange across the UK and internationally.
