CoreView has released Corey, an AI-driven agent designed to support IT teams managing Microsoft 365 environments. The launch comes as organisations face around 140,000 unverified login attempts each week, highlighting the need for rapid assessment and response to potential security threats affecting critical infrastructure.

Corey has been deployed in 136 organisations as part of an early access programme. It supports IT teams by identifying configuration issues, highlighting risky permissions, generating governance reports, and enabling corrective actions through natural language commands. All actions are carried out within CoreView’s governance framework, ensuring transparency and alignment with organisational policies.

The widespread adoption of Microsoft 365, used across more than two million organisations globally, has increased the complexity of administration across areas such as collaboration, identity, security, and compliance. Corey enables administrators to query tenant data using natural language, supporting analysis and oversight of Microsoft 365 environments.

CoreView positions Corey as a tool that supports IT operations by combining automation with governance, aiming to improve decision-making speed, reduce configuration errors, and strengthen security management.

Key functionalities of Corey include:

  • Identifying security and configuration issues within Microsoft 365 tenants
  • Generating governance and audit reports
  • Detecting risky permissions, misconfigurations, and policy gaps
  • Managing user access and licensing
  • Supporting incident response during potential security events
