A planning application has been submitted for the initial phase of development, which is designed to provide up to 280MW capacity. The facility is expected to support high-performance computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads.

Subject to planning and other approvals, Sembcorp Energy UK expects that the Sembcorp Wilton International Data Centre can be ready for construction to commence by the latter part of this year.
