Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited reported that its portfolio company in Poland, Emitel, has completed the acquisition of a data centre located just outside Warsaw.

The facility has an IT load capacity of 2 MW, with additional space that may allow for future expansion. This acquisition marks Emitel’s entry into the data centre sector.

The site is built to Tier III+ reliability standards as defined by the Uptime Institute. It is intended to support services such as colocation, cloud computing, and data processing for business customers in Poland and other European markets.

The development forms part of Emitel’s broader activity within digital infrastructure in Poland and is positioned to serve demand from organisations in the Warsaw metropolitan area, with a focus on operational reliability, security, and scalability.

The move also reflects wider industry trends, including increased demand for computing and data infrastructure to support technologies such as artificial intelligence and other data-intensive applications, particularly across Central and Eastern Europe.

Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Management expects Emitel to continue developing its presence in the data centre sector and exploring related growth opportunities in the region.
