SonicWall recently announced the appointment of Jonathan Berger as Senior Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances. In this role, Berger is responsible for shaping the company’s global partner strategy and supporting growth across its partner ecosystem, including MSP/MSSP providers and resellers. His responsibilities include strengthening partner relationships, expanding recurring revenue opportunities, and helping ensure the channel program delivers measurable outcomes for partners of different sizes.

Prior to joining SonicWall, Berger held leadership positions at BlueAlly, where he worked within a major SonicWall channel partner organisation. At BlueAlly, he helped develop and scale a cybersecurity-focused VAR, MSP, and MSSP business. His previous roles also include Chief Marketing Officer at BlueAlly, Chief Executive Officer at Saicom Voice Services, and Chief Operating Officer at Virtual Graffiti.

Berger’s background includes experience working within partner-led IT and cybersecurity businesses, which informs his understanding of MSP and MSSP operational requirements and go-to-market needs. This experience is relevant to his role in supporting SonicWall’s channel strategy.

His appointment reflects SonicWall’s continued focus on its channel program and partner ecosystem as part of its broader go-to-market approach. The company operates primarily through channel sales, with MSPs, MSSPs, and resellers forming a central part of its distribution model.

Berger began his career in South Africa, where he led an ITSP, VoIP, and MSP business before relocating to the United States. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA. His international experience spans multiple regions, including North America (NOAM), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ), and Latin America (LATAM), which is relevant to his global channel leadership responsibilities.
