Checkmarx has partnered with Carahsoft Technology Corp., a government IT solutions provider. Under this arrangement, Carahsoft serves as Checkmarx’s Master Government Aggregator, enabling access to Checkmarx application security solutions for the public sector through Carahsoft’s reseller network and existing procurement contracts.

Checkmarx provides a unified application security platform designed to support modern software development. The platform covers multiple stages of the software development lifecycle, from code creation through to runtime, and includes capabilities such as static application security testing, dynamic application security testing, software composition analysis, API security, container security, and application security posture management.

By correlating risk signals across the software development lifecycle, the platform aims to provide visibility into vulnerabilities and help prioritise higher-risk issues. It also integrates security-related features into developer workflows to support ongoing detection, remediation, and policy enforcement alongside development activity.

The approach is intended to consolidate multiple security tools into a single platform. This can reduce the need for separate systems, improve visibility into identified issues, and support earlier remediation during development. It is designed to integrate with existing DevOps environments and support compliance, visibility, and operational control.

For government organisations modernising their software development processes, the collaboration with Carahsoft provides a route to access Checkmarx’s application security tools through established procurement channels, supporting efforts to address security risks and protect sensitive systems and data.
