SailPoint recently introduced Agentic Acceleration, an AI methodology designed to support enterprises in migrating from traditional identity systems to the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud more quickly and efficiently. The approach automates a large portion of the upgrade process, reducing what has traditionally been a lengthy effort into a process that can be completed in a matter of days.
Historically, cloud migration has been complex for large organisations due to the resources required and the risks involved in transitioning systems. SailPoint’s Agentic Acceleration, powered by the SailPoint Virtual Architect, is intended to reduce this complexity. The tool converts existing configurations, workflows, and policies into a cloud-ready format, reducing the level of manual work typically needed.
A key component of Agentic Acceleration is the SailPoint Virtual Architect, a tool informed by around two decades of identity security experience and a large number of enterprise deployments. It supports the mapping of workflows and processes within the cloud environment before deployment, allowing organisations to review and understand changes in advance of upgrading.
Agentic Acceleration is offered at no additional cost for customers moving from IdentityIQ or other legacy systems to the Identity Security Cloud. This is intended to reduce common barriers such as time, cost, and implementation risk during migration.
The approach also extends to SailPoint’s partner ecosystem. By automating parts of the migration and transformation process earlier, partners can complete implementation work more quickly and address identity security requirements within the migration process.
