This result confirms the company’s growth trajectory and strengthens its position in the HVAC sector. Daikin’s strategy is based on an approach focused on technological innovation, product quality, and close attention to customer needs, with the aim of delivering high performance and concrete solutions to market challenges. In this context, sustainability represents a key element, aligned with the increasing demand for sector decarbonization.

HVAC solutions for decarbonization with high safety standards

Daikin Applied Europe continues to develop technologies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with cooling and heating systems. The company has recently expanded its portfolio with a range of units using natural refrigerant R-290 (propane). The new line includes: • EWA/YK-CZ packaged units (20–85 kW) • EWYK-QZ modular heat pumps, configurable up to 2000 kW All units are equipped with the Daikin Safety Shield system, integrating active and passive safety measures across the electrical supply, refrigerant circuit, and hydraulic circuit. These units are designed to cover a wide range of applications, from light commercial to industrial and district heating. The EWA/YK-CZ series can operate as both a chiller and a heat pump, delivering water temperatures up to 75°C and operating in outdoor conditions ranging from -20°C to +46°C. The modular EWYK-QZ series enables flexible scalability, allowing installed capacity to be precisely adapted to system requirements and expanded over time. The units ensure temperatures up to 75°C and reliable performance even under demanding operating conditions.

Technologies for industrial applications and district heating

Within the framework of European energy efficiency and renewable energy policies, high-efficiency and sustainable HVAC systems are playing an increasingly important role. Daikin offers solutions for district heating and industrial applications, including the VZ Series, designed for high-temperature applications. In particular, the EWWH-VZ heat pump: • uses R-1234ze refrigerant with near-zero GWP • offers capacities from 400 to 1900 kW • enables hot water production up to 90°C

Thanks to the inverter-driven screw compressor and compact design, the solution ensures high energy efficiency and operational flexibility, making it suitable for replacing fossil fuel-based heating systems.

New solutions for data center cooling

Daikin is strengthening its offering for the data center sector with technologies designed to ensure energy efficiency, reliability, and operational continuity. Among the key innovations is the new Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU), currently being launched, designed for liquid cooling architectures. The solution: • supports capacities above 2.5 MW • integrates high-efficiency IE5 motors • ensures high temperature control precision

The CDU is designed with redundancy systems and hot-swappable components to allow maintenance operations without downtime. To support the data center market, Daikin has also developed a dedicated organization with a team of specialists and an end-to-end approach covering all project phases, from design to after-sales service.

Value-added services and rental solutions

Alongside technological innovation, Daikin has expanded its service portfolio to ensure operational continuity and long-term system reliability. Rental cooling & heating solutions represent a strategic part of the offering, supported by a flexible fleet of chillers and heat pumps. These services enable customers to manage: • seasonal demand peaks • plant upgrades • temporary or emergency needs

The company has recently strengthened its presence in the European rental market, particularly in the United Kingdom, Germany, and other key countries, responding to the growing demand for scalable and readily available solutions.
