Romania’s state-of-the-art Omnilogic Data Center selects Cummins Power Generation

Over the fifteen years since it was founded, Omnilogic has risen to become a leading player in Romania’s Information Technology and Communications market. The latest phase in the company’s growth has seen the design and construction of a g8 million headquarters at Otopeni, 15 km north of the capital, Bucharest. Housed within the state-of-the-art 24,000 m2 site is a 1,500 m2 high-security Tier 4 data centre, the first of its kind in the country.

Uptime Institute, a division of The 451 Group, has announced the complete results of its third annual data center industry survey. The survey was developed to collect data on an annual basis around Digital Infrastructure deployment trends, procurement plans, operations and management practices, and other topics that impact the mission-critical data centre industry.

Eaton has named Kurt McMaken president – Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. He succeeds Yannis P. Tsavalas who is moving to a new role as senior vice president, strategic initiatives – Electrical Sector. McMaken will report to Thomas S. Gross, Eaton’s vice chairman and chief operating officer for Eaton’s Electrical Sector.
