HPC, data management, data storage and data analytics provider, OCF has been chosen by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) to provide cluster management support services for its High Performance Computer (HPC) system. OCF provides UCLan with strategic counsel and development of its HPC system in the absence of an in-house HPC manager, due to a shortage in the recruitment market.

Recently, Softcat took home two awards from the NetApp partner awards ceremony at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London. Hammer PLC’s Andy Emmett presented The NetApp Platinum Partner of the Year award to Martin Hellawell, Sam Routledge, Krishna Keshvara and Richard Wyn Griffith. Chris Barrie, of Red Dwarf fame, presented Ebow Barnes with the NetApp UK Sales Individual award for his outstanding individual sales performance over the past year.
