HP has announced expanded availability of the HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP), an innovative AI-enabled digital employee experience solution. The platform is designed to help organisations manage, secure, and support their IT environments while improving employee engagement and productivity.

WXP combines device intelligence, user sentiment insights, and AI automation across PCs, printing, and IT infrastructure. With WXP, HP and its channel partners can help businesses create better technology experiences for their workforce and make data-driven decisions that support growth and operational efficiency.

“The way people work is changing rapidly, and businesses need to keep up,” said Lee Elliot, Director of Workforce Solutions, HP Northwest Europe. “Productive and engaged employees are at the heart of successful businesses. With WXP, we are helping our customers shift from firefighting to forward-planning by supporting remote, hybrid, and in-office teams with equal agility. By reducing IT friction, simplifying operations and lowering total cost of ownership, WXP empowers organisations to deliver seamless technology experiences that drive performance and improve employee satisfaction.”

Reimagining the Employee Experience with AI

The HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) draws on billions of data points to intelligently anticipate problems, removing friction for employees and reducing the never-ending firehose of IT requests. Key features include:

· Persona-Based Recommendations: WXP uses AI to understand how individual employees use their devices and suggests the best-fit technology for their specific roles, replacing outdated one-size-fits-all IT strategies.

· Natural Language Querying: Powered by a large language model, IT admins can ask simple questions such as “Which devices need storage upgrades?” or “What is the battery health in the marketing team?” to receive instant, actionable insights.

· Cross-Platform Visibility: WXP will soon support monitoring across various operating systems and device manufacturers, including computers, peripherals, printers, and collaboration tools.

· Smart Lifecycle Planning: The platform uses predictive analytics to recommend timely device upgrades, helping businesses optimise refresh cycles based on real usage data.

· Employee Sentiment Tracking: Built-in pulse surveys enable organisations to continuously assess employee satisfaction with digital tools and environments, helping improve the experience for distributed teams.

· Linking Sentiment to Performance: WXP connects user feedback to system performance data to identify trends like slow boot times or connectivity issues and suggests targeted improvements.

· Automated Support and Security: By reducing manual ticketing through automatic ticket reduction on helpdesks and integrating HP Wolf Security, WXP lowers total cost of ownership while strengthening endpoint protection.

· Enhanced Collaboration Solutions: Following HP’s acquisition of Vyopta, WXP will offer advanced video conferencing analytics to improve meeting experiences and monitor user adoption and resource usage

· Unified Multi-Vendor Support: WXP provides cross-platform, multi-OS support with seamless integration into tools like Microsoft Power BI, ServiceNow, and Tableau, enabling consistent reporting and simplified IT management as a managed service

· Automated System Updates: The platform automates driver and BIOS updates, reducing manual workloads and delivering significant cost savings for IT departments

Whether deployed directly by HP or through channel partners, WXP is built to meet the demands of the modern hybrid workforce. It enables organisations to shift from reactive IT to proactive experience management.
