SailPoint introduces a revolutionary solution to enhance application management through intelligent automation and governance, transforming security and compliance measures.

SailPoint, Inc., known for its expertise in enterprise identity security, has recently unveiled SailPoint Accelerated Application Management, a pioneering solution set to transform how enterprises address application governance and security at scale. With traditional methods governing fewer than 50 applications, many more remain unchecked, presenting significant risks. This innovative approach combines intelligence with expert-led deployment, offering efficient coverage and compliance, thus setting a new industry standard.

In many organisations, identity security tools are linked only to a limited number of applications. Conventional connectors, although comprehensive, are cumbersome—often requiring in-depth application knowledge and lengthy manual efforts. This results in critical applications being unmanaged, risks undetected, and threats unresolved. Without the intelligence to identify high-risk applications and automation for swift governance, organisations remain vulnerable.

SailPoint Accelerated Application Management provides an industry-first, comprehensive solution that seamlessly integrates application intelligence with systematic governance. It leverages SailPoint's Atlas platform to deliver continuous application discovery, effortless onboarding, risk-based prioritisation, and automated governance workflows. With AI-driven insights, organisations can effectively enforce policies, streamline remediation, and leverage intelligent recommendations for enhanced decision-making. As a result, organisations achieve immediate compliance for critical applications, managing hundreds of apps in just days rather than months, significantly cutting costs and effort.

In conjunction with this announcement, SailPoint has entered an agreement to acquire Savvy's key assets. Renowned for their SaaS application visibility and monitoring, Savvy's integration promises to further enrich SailPoint's offerings.

The solution introduces three key capabilities designed to evolve with organisational growth:

  • Application Visibility and Intelligence: Offering continuous application discovery, the platform identifies compromised passwords and prioritises governance efforts on impactful applications.
  • Quicker Compliance: Zero-touch onboarding via Express Setup ensures rapid access reviews, privilege enforcement, and audit-ready reporting.
  • Deepened Governance: Advanced automation supports seamless provisioning, identity lifecycle management, and AI-driven policy enforcement.

SailPoint offers expert-led service deployments through dedicated teams, mitigating the need for specialised internal resources. The service is delivered in two packages, providing rapid visibility and a path for advanced governance as organisations advance.

Chandra Gnanasambandam, CTO and EVP of Product at SailPoint, stated that the aim is to provide a "smarter foundation" for enterprises, enabling them to "secure more, scale faster, and turn identity into a true driver of business agility."
