Bechtle AG, a leading German IT service firm, has expanded its portfolio by acquiring ITAM Solutions BV, a Dutch IT asset management company based in Eindhoven. Established in 2007, ITAM Solutions is renowned for its proficiency in IT asset management and consulting services in FinOps and cost management. With a workforce of 38, the company achieved a revenue of €4.4 million in the last fiscal year.

The acquisition sees ITAM Solutions fully integrating into Bechtle's subsidiary, PQR, with Simone van Sambeek, the founder and CEO, continuing her leadership role within the newly expanded team. This acquisition aligns with Bechtle's strategic objective of enhancing its international presence, especially within the Netherlands, and leveraging specialised capabilities.

This marks Bechtle's second significant acquisition in the Netherlands this year, following its June purchase of E-Storage, a well-known IT service provider. ITAM Solutions, recognised for its market leadership in strategic IT asset management and cloud cost management (FinOps), is poised to accelerate its growth trajectory under the Bechtle Group's umbrella.

Marco Lesmeister, Managing Director of PQR, highlights the strategic importance of the integration, noting, "The effective use of software and cloud services is one of the key challenges of the digital transformation. Integrating ITAM's expertise will quickly unlock synergies in our customer engagements and help drive our continued growth."

Amidst increasing demands for transparent and compliant IT resource management, Bechtle's offerings will significantly benefit from ITAM Solutions' team of seasoned professionals, which Vice President of Netherlands, Marijke Krist, enthusiastically welcomes. This acquisition not only expands Bechtle’s operational capabilities but also solidifies its foothold across multiple economic hubs in the Netherlands, ranging from Maastricht to Eindhoven, and beyond.

With a comprehensive network comprising subsidiaries like ARP, Bechtle direct, and Cadmes, alongside ITAM and PQR, the Bechtle Group now employs over 800 individuals in the Netherlands. This strategic move underscores Bechtle's commitment to growth through enhanced service offerings and a strengthened marketplace presence.
