Aurora Managed Services has expanded its influence in the managed services sector by acquiring Right Digital Solutions ('RDS'), a top provider of workplace technology solutions. This merger establishes Aurora as one of the UK's largest independent providers of services centred on print, document workflow, telecoms, and IT.

Right Digital Solutions, founded in 1988 by Paul Gillett, has carved a niche as a reputable technology partner for organisations across various sectors. With expertise spanning managed print, IT, communications, and data insight, RDS plays a vital role in facilitating organisational transformation.

Explaining the future potential of the acquisition, Robin Stanton-Gleaves, the Chairman of Aurora, said "RDS is a very exciting acquisition for Aurora and the first step in our significant future growth plans"

He emphasised how RDS's integration would enhance Aurora's service portfolio, aiming for a market-leading position as an independent provider. "Aurora’s outstanding managed services offerings will be complemented by RDS’ technical expertise and service excellence," he noted.

Meanwhile, Paul Gillett reflected on the merger as a significant step forward. "The combination of Aurora’s scale and infrastructure with RDS’s technical expertise will create a major force," he proclaimed.

The blending of Aurora’s proactive managed services model with RDS's dedication to excellence is not just expected to benefit the customers but also to rub off on team dynamics within the new entity. This enhanced setup positions Aurora for accelerated growth, as it looks to solidify its standing as the UK's top independent choice in managed technology services.

The confluence of shared values and uncompromising service quality foresees a promising future for the newly formed organisation, aiming to achieve unparalleled levels of customer satisfaction while exploring new pathways for expansion.
