One of Europe's leading security-first managed service providers, Ekco, has announced the acquisition of UK-based Solsoft Group Limited. Founded and headquartered in Dublin, Ekco is rapidly expanding, with Solsoft being its third acquisition this year.

Solsoft, based in Bristol, has spent over 26 years providing proactive IT services to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and not-for-profit organisations in the South and Southwest of the UK. The company's experience spans key sectors such as legal services, construction, engineering, energy, health, and social care. With a dedicated team of 16, Solsoft will be joining Ekco's considerably larger global workforce, which totals over 1,000 across Ireland, the UK, Netherlands, Malaysia, and South Africa.

This acquisition forms part of the Ekco MSP Division, reinforcing Ekco's presence in the UK market under the guiding leadership of Cian Prendergast. Ekco's acquisition of Solsoft highlights the seventh such deal in the last two years, following strategic purchases like MSPs Radius and Adapt IT. This move marks yet another milestone in Ekco's ambition to establish a unified MSP platform throughout Europe.

Helmed by Managing Director Neil Farnworth and Operations Director Ilona Clark, Solsoft's leadership brings over four decades of industry experience to this new phase of its journey.

The integration of these two companies aims to offer enhanced capability and resilience while maintaining a high standard of responsiveness. With both parties sharing aligned approaches and work ethics, the merger looks poised for a swift and smooth convergence.
