Gcore, a leader in edge AI, cloud, network, and security solutions, unveils the AI Cloud Stack – a pioneering software suite for constructing hyperscaler-grade private AI clouds. This innovative solution targets cloud service providers (CSPs), telcos, and large enterprises, empowering them to transform GPU clusters into cloudified, multi-tenant infrastructure with speed and efficiency.

The AI Cloud Stack is engineered to integrate seamlessly with top-tier technology allies such as VAST Data and Nokia, addressing common obstacles faced by CSPs and big enterprises in deploying vast GPU infrastructures. The typical trials include protracted time-to-market, operational inefficiencies, and the daunting challenge of profitably monetising capacity.

Seva Vayner, Gcore's Product Director for Edge Cloud and AI, notes the hybrid future of AI infrastructure, blending public cloud with on-premises environments. This need is driven by regulatory and operational demands across various industries. “Yet building and managing AI infrastructure at scale is complex, costly, and slow to deliver ROI,” he emphasises. Gcore AI Cloud Stack removes these hurdles by providing a holistic solution – coupling reference architecture, operational blueprints, and cloudification software, from Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) to Model-as-a-Service (MaaS). This shift allows for swift transformation of raw AI accelerators into efficient cloud setups, significantly speeding up AI adoption and deployment whilst enhancing revenue prospects.

Dan Chester, CSP Director EMEA at VAST Data, highlights the integration success, stating, "Gcore brings together the key pieces, compute, networking, and storage, into a usable stack." This effectively speeds up the establishment of AI clouds, enabling faster client onboarding and quicker revenue realisation. The collaboration with VAST's Advanced AI Operating System provides a scalable, trustworthy, and forward-looking AI infrastructure.

In partnership with Nokia, Gcore advances networking reference architecture for AI clouds, combining the power of programmable, open networks with cutting-edge cloud software. Mark Vanderhaegen, Nokia's Head of Business Development at Data Center Networks, praises Gcore for these deployable blueprints, enhancing customer adoption across data centres and edge environments.

Notable features of the AI Cloud Stack include:

  • Cloudification Software Stack: Converts basic infrastructure into cloud-consumption models, offering IaaS, PaaS, GPU-as-a-Service, and MaaS.
  • Operational Excellence: By leveraging VAST AI OS, the solution ensures unified governance and scalable compute coupled with robust AI-ready services.
  • Hyperscaler-grade Functionality: Matches capabilities of major public cloud providers with comprehensive billing, orchestration, and professional services.
  • AI Enterprise-ready: Features pre-trained models, chatbots, and blueprints, facilitating a swift time-to-market.

Choosing Gcore AI Cloud Stack offers the flexibility of white-label options, allowing brands to market services leveraging Gcore’s secure global infrastructure.
