Veeam® Software, a global leader in data resilience, has announced the ascension of Veronica Oprea to the position of Inside Sales Leader for EMEA, effective immediately. With over six years at Veeam, Veronica has polished her expertise in leading high-performing teams and championing operational excellence from her base in Bucharest.

Having held pivotal roles, such as Director, Inside Sales EMEA South & Acting Inside Sales Leader EMEA, Veronica has driven business success across multiple regions. Her tenure at Veeam showcases her prowess in managing large teams, devising strategic sales approaches, and cultivating a culture of collaboration.

Before her Veeam journey, Veronica honed her leadership skills at Oracle. As Support Sales Manager for Hospitality & Retail South Region, she excelled in operational integration and change management, outperforming targets across the board. Veronica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Bucharest.

In her new role, Veronica will shape Veeam's Inside Sales strategy for EMEA, focusing on pipeline acceleration and fostering commercial and enterprise growth. Working closely with regional sales and partner teams, she'll fortify customer relationships and deliver industry-leading solutions.

Her leadership, enriched by her commitment to Veeam’s values—collaboration, transparency, and growth—will drive the company's expansion and reinforce its value proposition across EMEA.
