SNP SE, a renowned software provider in digital transformation, has taken a decisive leap forward in collaboration with SAP SE, its long-standing partner. Announcing its pioneering initiative, SNP is among the first to transition its SAP systems from SAP Cloud ERP Private to SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition utilising its proprietary transformation platform, Kyano.

Over the years, SNP and SAP have forged a robust partnership dedicated to evolving customers' SAP landscapes. Whether it's transitioning to S/4HANA, implementing the RISE with SAP programme, or embarking on bespoke cloud migration initiatives, the synergy between the two enterprises is unparalleled. SAP remains a global giant in enterprise software solutions, while SNP has carved a niche as an expert in managing intricate IT and business transformations within the SAP ecosystem.

Boasting an impressive portfolio of over 15,000 complex transformation projects over 30 years, SNP has consistently delivered excellence, from carve-outs and M&A transformations to digitization strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency and future preparedness. The Kyano platform, proven in numerous customer projects, ensures data migrations that are secure, swift, and compliant. SNP's current endeavour—moving to the SAP Public Cloud—stands testament to its commitment to innovation and customer growth.

Jens Amail, CEO of SNP, emphasised this milestone, stating, “The migration of our own systems to SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition – including the integration of historical data – is a new use case for our Kyano platform. As a first mover, we are expanding our expertise and the functionality of our software, which in turn benefits our customers. This means we can support data-enabled transformations and business agility through innovation better than ever before.”

Echoing Amail's sentiments, Sven Mulder, Managing Director of SAP Germany, lauded SNP as a cherished partner within the SAP ecosystem. Highlighting their extensive expertise in executing complex data migrations and transformations, Mulder acknowledged the complementary strength SNP brings to SAP cloud solutions. "The collaboration offers significant added value for our customers, enabling them to accelerate their digital transformation, increase process efficiency and make their company fit for the future,” he noted.

As an early adopter of the SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition, SNP leads the charge, capturing the attention of a diverse audience comprising customers, partners, and the broader SAP community. The insights gleaned from this venture promise to catalyse advances in future SAP modernization and cloud migration undertakings.
