Syncro introduces Built-In Network Discovery to streamline MSP and IT operations

Syncro has introduced its new Network Discovery solution, a fully integrated tool that automatically detects and manages network-connected devices. This feature simplifies IT operations by eliminating the need for third-party scanning tools and is included at no additional cost for Syncro’s Team Plan users.

Network Discovery is designed for MSP admins, technicians, and internal IT teams, offering an easier way to manage network assets efficiently. It is built into Syncro’s combined Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform, enabling users to automatically identify workstations, servers, printers, and other network-enabled devices. Customizable discovery profiles, automated scans, and seamless agent deployment reduce onboarding time, improve data accuracy, and strengthen compliance efforts. With these capabilities integrated within a single platform, technicians can bring new clients under management quickly while maintaining full network visibility.

"Syncro's new network discovery capability makes it significantly easier to map client environments and gain full visibility into what's actually on the network,” said Des Quinn, owner of Equinox IT Consulting. “It streamlines the process of identifying devices that are untracked or have fallen off the radar, helping my team stay proactive and in control. This capability delivers immediate value by simplifying device management and strengthening overall network oversight."

“During this past year, we have significantly increased our engineering pace and cadence to continuously deliver more value for our growing MSP partners,” said Michael George, CEO of Syncro. “This new capability is evidence of that commitment as we continue innovating and delivering a platform that provides value both today and well into the future.”

Key Benefits of Network Discovery

• Automates Onboarding: Streamlines asset discovery and Syncro agent installations, reducing labor and setup time.

• Improves Data Accuracy: Provides a comprehensive view of all network devices, minimizing data gaps.

• Enhances Compliance: Ensures regulatory requirements are met by maintaining a full inventory and visibility of all network assets.

• Minimizes Errors: Reduces manual entry and enhances asset tracking with automated detection.

• Identifies New Revenue Opportunities: Finds unmanaged new devices, helping MSPs to expand their services.

Supporting MSP Growth

As MSPs expand their operations and manage a growing number of endpoints, maintaining visibility and operational efficiency becomes increasingly important. Network Discovery aligns with Syncro’s goal of providing cost-effective, scalable IT management solutions that help mid-sized MSPs streamline operations and support business growth.
