WatchGuard appoints Frédéric Saint-Joigny as VP of EMEA Sales

WatchGuard Technologies strengthens EMEA sales leadership with Frédéric Saint-Joigny's appointment to drive regional growth and enhance partner collaboration.

WatchGuard Technologies, renowned for its unified cybersecurity solutions, recently announced the recruitment of Frédéric Saint-Joigny as their new Vice President of EMEA Sales. Reporting directly to Chief Revenue Officer HoJin Kim, Frédéric is set to define and implement a market strategy that will aid partners in seizing emerging opportunities, diversifying cybersecurity offers, and igniting a new phase of growth throughout the EMEA region.

This strategic appointment underscores WatchGuard’s dedication to rejuvenating its leadership and sales lineup, ensuring they remain responsive to the ever-evolving demands of the cybersecurity landscape and partner networks. With a durable foundation already established, Frédéric’s leadership is anticipated to harmonize regional sales, fortify partner support, and propel growth initiatives.

“Frédéric is the right leader at the right time,” expressed HoJin Kim, exhibiting his enthusiasm over the new appointment "His proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams, drive partner-centric growth, and guide organisations through transformation makes him an ideal fit as we continue to evolve our business and empower our partners with a broader cybersecurity portfolio.”

With over 20 years of adept handling in enterprise and channel sales specifically within the cybersecurity and networking sectors, Frédéric’s credentials speak for themselves. Prior to joining WatchGuard, he orchestrated sales operations for EMEA at Skybox Security, significantly enhancing regional outreach and boosting channel efficiency. His previous tenure at Aruba Networks, both pre-and post-its acquisition by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), saw him instrumental in escalating the EMEA channel business.

Integrating Frédéric into WatchGuard’s robust operational structure marks a pivotal stepping stone in transitioning partners from merely selling individual security products to delivering holistic and integrated cybersecurity solutions, inclusive of advanced managed services. This amalgamation of leadership aims to further regional cohesion, positioning WatchGuard and its partners as front-runners in tapping into latent market potentials and breaking new growth ceilings.

“I’m excited to join WatchGuard at such a transformative moment.” Frédéric commented on his new role, highlighting his anticipation to contribute to the evolving dynamics.

As WatchGuard ventures into new horizons with a revitalized leadership core, its ultimate goal remains to empower partners, enabling them to adapt swiftly and thrive in an ever-changing cybersecurity market.
