Westcon-Comstor and Rackmount.IT partner to strengthen Cisco infrastructure

Westcon-Comstor teams up with Rackmount.IT to empower Cisco partners across EMEA by enhancing network security and infrastructure resilience.

Westcon-Comstor, a renowned global technology provider and distributor, has announced a dynamic collaboration with Rackmount.IT, a specialist in high-quality rackmount kits. This alliance aims to modernise and future-proofIT infrastructure for Cisco partners, especially focusing on security and network advancements across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Rackmount.IT is well regarded for converting desktop security appliances into rack-mounted formats, significantly enhancing cybersecurity measures. Their products are adept at organising, protecting, and securing electronic equipment in various industrial and commercial environments.

With this collaboration, Comstor will distribute Rackmount.IT’s Cisco racking solutions across EMEA. This enables Cisco partners to safeguard essential network infrastructure, ensuring quick resolution time frames by employing advanced patch management.

This initiative facilitates new upsell and cross-sell opportunities, allowing partners to increase profitability and customer loyalty. By integrating Rackmount.IT’s customisable solutions with their existing services, they can present a comprehensive offering to both new and existing clients.

Utilising Comstor’s value-added services, including collaboration with managed service providers (MSPs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs), Rackmount.IT is poised to accelerate the adoption of its products, broadening its market reach to enterprises and small to medium-sized businesses.

Rackmount.IT’s extensive product range also suggests potential for expanding the collaboration to Westcon's vendor portfolio in the future.

"We’re proud to be empowering partners to enhance the security and resilience of their customers’ critical network infrastructure through this exciting new collaboration with Rackmount.IT," said Steven Heinsius, Vice President, Product Management and Marketing EMEA, Comstor at Westcon-Comstor.
