F5's new headquarters: A vision for growth and sustainability in EMEA

F5 inaugurates its new EMEA headquarters in Addlestone, showcasing a major investment in sustainability and community engagement.

F5, a company focused on delivering and securing applications and APIs, has opened its new EMEA headquarters at Building 100 in Addlestone, Surrey. The relocation represents an investment in its regional operations and its continued presence in the United Kingdom.

The office spans 23,627 sq ft and is intended to accommodate more than 155 employees. It will act as a hub for F5’s operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The company has secured a 10-year lease for the space.

The headquarters is located within the Thames Valley technology region, placing it near customers, partners, and potential employees.

The facility is designed to support hybrid working and includes flexible collaboration areas, touchdown desks, focus areas, quiet zones, and technology to support work across devices and locations. A theatre-style space is also available for training sessions and company events.

Accessibility and inclusion features include gender-neutral facilities, a multifaith room, a mothers’ room, and quiet areas.

The office is located within Bourne Business Park, which is part of a development that has been recognised as Commercial Development of the Year. In terms of sustainability, Building 100 has a NABERS UK Design for Performance rating of 5.5, placing it among higher-rated office refurbishments in the UK for energy efficiency. The building is fully electric and includes solar power integration.

It has also achieved BREEAM Excellent status. The fit-out includes recycled and recyclable materials, including acoustic design elements with environmental considerations.

Alongside the opening of the office, F5 supported a community initiative by funding a Mini Medics programme at The Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Addlestone. The programme provided first aid training to more than 120 pupils, as part of a wider community engagement effort linked to the site.
