Westcon-Comstor and AudioCodes expand collaboration

Extended agreement will see Westcon deliver the AudioCodes Live Platform for Microsoft Teams to its partners, enabling them to grow recurring revenues with hosted voice and contact centre solutions.

Westcon-Comstor has announced a new solution offering with AudioCodes, a leading vendor of advanced communications software, products and productivity solutions for the digital workplace, that will enable channel partners to grow recurring revenues by developing their unified communications as a service (UCaaS) and contact centre as a service (CCaaS) offerings.

Under the agreement, Westcon will become the first pan-EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) distributor to provide the AudioCodes Live Platform for Microsoft Teams to its partners.

AudioCodes Live Platform consolidates multiple solutions for Microsoft Teams to provide complete calling, contact centre and recording functionality.

The white-labelled platform will be hosted by AudioCodes and managed by Westcon in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Teams, providing partners with the ability to improve their customers’ Teams unified communications (UC) experience through enhanced flexibility, compliance and accessibility. This includes Teams direct routing, AI-powered contact centre solution, and enterprise compliance recording.

Westcon and AudioCodes will collaborate to provide technical and implementation support as part of an integrated solution, with partners having the ability to transact with their customers in the Westcon-managed platform, through either a service provider or managed service provider (MSP) model.

The agreement covers the UK and Europe initially and will be extended to other countries within the EMEA region during the coming months.

“We’re excited to bring the power of the AudioCodes Live Platform for Microsoft Teams to our partners and their customers through this innovative collaboration,” said Antony Byford, Vice President Cloud and Collaboration Europe at Westcon-Comstor. “End-users can sometimes lack expertise around Microsoft Teams unified communications tools. With the AudioCodes Live Platform for Microsoft Teams, we can overcome this and other challenges by providing a hosted voice solution that our partners can bring to market, growing predictable recurring revenues by building as-a-service capabilities and unleashing the full potential of Microsoft Teams for their customers.”

“AudioCodes Live Platform for Microsoft Teams is already a proven gamechanger thanks to its ability to enable service providers to offer a comprehensive portfolio for Microsoft Teams with rapid onboarding for their customers,” said Lior Aldema, Chief Business Officer at AudioCodes. “Through this expanded collaboration with Westcon, which builds on our many years of joint experience and co-operation, we’re bringing our complete calling and contact centre experience for Microsoft Teams to an even wider audience of enterprises and enabling our channel partners to meet their customers’ expectations.”
