SolarWinds enhances reseller partner programme with new benefits

SolarWinds introduces updates to its Reseller Partner Programme, aiming to enhance benefits and providing opportunities for growth and success.

SolarWinds, a provider of observability and IT management software, has announced updates to its Reseller Partner Programme. The changes are intended to evolve its partner ecosystem by adjusting benefits, enablement resources, and the discount structure.

The updated framework introduces more clearly defined guidelines for how partners are rewarded for investment and growth. It also aims to provide more consistent tier-based benefits, with the goal of supporting pipeline development, deal execution, and customer delivery.

The enhancements are grouped into four main areas:

  • Benefits: Partners receive revised tier-based advantages, including a simplified incentive programme and a long-term rewards centre designed to support ongoing participation.
  • Enablement: Existing training and certification options are being expanded, alongside regular webinars and newsletters, to support continued skills development and specialisation.
  • Partner Experience: Updates to the partner portal include additional resources and functional improvements. Integration with Salesforce is also included to support opportunity management.
  • Discounting: The programme is shifting from recommended reseller discounts to published, tier-based discounts to provide a more consistent structure for sales and channel planning.

In response to changes in the IT market, SolarWinds states that the updates are designed to support partners in delivering services in evolving digital environments.

To support the rollout, the company is introducing enablement materials and scheduled office hours ahead of the programme launch. It has also defined updated tier requirements and included a Fast Track Programme to help partners adjust to the new structure and progress through the tiers.
