Orbus Software has appointed Ed Granger as Vice President of Product Innovation as the company furthers its commitment to creating user-centric platform enhancements that support evolving customer needs.

Ed joins Orbus from Ardoq, where he served as Product Strategist since 2019. There he managed a product team to ensure delivery against the overall product strategy, and helped to define enterprise architecture (EA) use cases and methods to support customers. Ed also has experience working as an EA consultant for global organisations, as well as an in-house enterprise architect in the financial services industry.

The appointment comes off the back of a hugely successful 2023 for Orbus Software in which the company achieved profitability following 30% year-on-year growth and ARR for its flagship OrbusInfinity platform increasing 56%. Orbus is now pursuing an ambitious product strategy that will see increased artificial intelligence and automation capabilities built into the platform.

Ed will report to Chief Product Officer Peter Bates and collaborate with teams across Orbus’ business to define and then execute product roadmap innovation aligned to customer pain points, in addition to contributing to performance against core commercial objectives.

Gareth Burton, CEO, Orbus Software said: “It’s fantastic to bring Ed on board at a pivotal time of change for both our platform and customers. Transformation software will only play an increasingly important role as businesses tackle the huge transformation challenges of the day. We are committed to continually evolving the OrbusInfinity platform in line with our customer’s needs, including further integration of AI to make our platform more intuitive and powerful than ever before. We’re delighted to have such an experienced product strategist with a deep customer understanding join us to drive our innovation and support our next phase of growth.”

Ed Granger, VP of Product Innovation, Orbus Software said: “Orbus’ fantastic blend of experience and innovation makes it one of the most exciting players in the EA space. Coming with direct experience working as an enterprise architect, I plan to draw on that experience with all of Orbus’ teams to deliver the product enhancements that our customers need to drive real digital change that is simpler than ever to forge and maintain.”
