Ci Distribution partners with 42Gears to enhance endpoint management offerings

Ci Distribution and 42Gears have partnered to provide resellers with device management and security solutions for use across multiple market sectors.

Ci Distribution has formed a partnership with 42Gears to bring its device management and security portfolio to Ci Distribution’s UK reseller network. The collaboration aims to support the delivery of secure, scalable, and enterprise-ready technology solutions across multiple vertical markets.

The partnership brings together two organisations focused on performance, reliability, and channel enablement. 42Gears is known for its endpoint management platform, which supports the security, monitoring, and management of devices across Android, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Linux environments. This aligns with Ci Distribution’s approach of working with specialist vendors to support reseller-led delivery of enterprise solutions.

Through Ci Distribution, resellers can access an initial free trial, along with local expertise, commercial support, technical enablement, and marketing assets designed for channel use. These resources aim to support the positioning of 42Gears solutions across sectors including retail, healthcare, logistics, education, and enterprise IT.

42Gears’ product suite, including SureMDM, SureLock, SureFox, and SureVideo, seeks to enable organisations to manage and secure devices, lock down endpoints, deploy enterprise browsers, and manage digital signage environments. This aligns with Ci Distribution’s focus on supporting resellers in environments where reliability is required.

In addition to device management, 42Gears supports a Zero Trust security approach through policy-based access controls, device posture checks, and secure connectivity to enterprise resources. This supports demand for Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and identity-aware endpoint security within Unified Endpoint Management strategies.

The partnership adds to Ci Distribution’s enterprise and mobility portfolio, providing resellers with access to endpoint management technology aimed at simplifying deployment, supporting security, and improving operational efficiency.

Resellers across several sectors where secure device management is required include:

  • Enterprise IT & Managed Service Providers: Centralised management across multiple operating systems to support visibility, control, and security across environments.
  • Retail & Hospitality: Device lockdown and kiosk mode capabilities for customer-facing use cases.
  • Healthcare & Field Services: Device management for tablets and handheld devices used in operational settings.
  • Logistics & Warehousing: Management and deployment of rugged devices across distributed environments.
