Azul has launched its PartnerConnect training and certification programme to empower channel partners to provide advanced Java advisory and delivery services. This new initiative will enable partners to become an instrumental part of Azul’s customer success by providing joint customers with fully optimised Java infrastructures, efficient and well executed OpenJDK migrations, improved Java application performance and increased DevOps productivity with code use analysis and vulnerability triage solutions.

The certification programme is self-paced, features a blend of training content, exercises and assets and a certification exam. The various training curriculums are comprised of sequential modules, covering topics such as Java fundamentals, OpenJDK migration best practices, performance tuning, and cloud cost optimisation to enable partners to hone their Java advisory and delivery skills. The training spans sales, engineering, solution specialist and consultancy roles, and is catalogued into three groups:

● Sales Professional Certifications: Equips sales teams with go-to-market messaging and skills to effectively position Azul Platform Core, Azul Platform Prime, and Azul Intelligence Cloud to customer stakeholders.

● Migration Partner Certifications: Leverages proven methodologies to guide implementation partners through the end-to-end process of advising, managing and delivering on migrating customers to Azul Platform Core.

● Partner Engineer Certifications: Empowers partners to become self-sufficient Azul technology experts. Engineers learn to optimise JVM performance, conduct technical discoveries and map customer challenges to Azul’s solutions.

“Our new PartnerConnect certification programme offers comprehensive Java journeys tailored to enhance our partners' Java expertise and prepare them for success in the delivery of related services,” said Simon Taylor, vice president of global channel sales, Azul. “The Java

market holds tremendous services potential for our partners. With our PartnerConnect training, channel partners acquire deep knowledge and proficiency across our product portfolio, enabling them to deliver maximum value to customers.”
