Arrow Electronics selected by Broadcom

Global technology solutions provider Arrow Electronics has been named Cloud Commerce Manager (CCM) for the VMware Cloud Service Provider program in 19 European countries by Broadcom.

The new agreement provides VMware Cloud Service Provider (VCSP) partners in those regions access to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) via Arrow.

Following the acquisition by Broadcom, VMware has simplified its product offerings. The VCSP Program now focuses on VMware Cloud Foundation, the company’s flagship private cloud platform.

VMware Cloud Foundation is the industry’s first private cloud platform to deliver public cloud scale and agility with private cloud security, resilience and performance, and low overall total cost of ownership. VCF supports customers’ digital innovation with faster infrastructure modernization, a unified cloud experience, and better cyber resiliency and platform security and low total cost of ownership.

Nick Bannister, president of Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA said, “For over two decades, Arrow has distributed VMware solutions across Europe. Our deep understanding, combined with our market expertise, is ideal for us to empower MSPs in an evolving landscape. Our local teams will keep supporting customers' revenue growth, while also helping them get the most from the new Advantage Partner Program for VCSP.”

Earlier this year, Broadcom announced its new Advantage Partner Program for VCSP partners. The program will recognise VCSP partners' commitment and empower their growth through simplified pricing, improved margins, and richer benefits.

“Arrow's established presence in the European market, combined with their proven track record in VMware solutions, positions them well to support our VCSP strategy," said Ahmar Mohammad, vice president of partners, managed services and solutions go to market, VCF Division at Broadcom. “We look forward to working together as we evolve our partner program.”

Arrow will support VCSP partners in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Denmark, Iceland, Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Germany, Finland, France, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
